Country Overview
Egypt, the most populous country in the Middle East and North Africa region, has over 114 million people.
Egypt boasts approximately 57,000 schools, 27 public universities, and over 20 private universities. More than 3 million students are currently enrolled in higher education institutions.
The number of Egyptian students studying abroad has been steadily increasing, driven by the pursuit of high-quality education and better career opportunities.
Between 35,000 to 40,000 Egyptian students study abroad, primarily in the US, UK, Germany, Canada, France, and Malaysia. There is also a growing demand for affordable programmes in Northern and Central Europe, as well as the Baltic countries. A significant proportion of these students pursue postgraduate studies.
At our education fair in Cairo, the interest in Bachelor's and Master's programs is nearly equal, while the number of students interested in specific programmes depends on the proportion of those programmes presented at the fair, as we promote each participant separately.
Engaging with Egypt's educational sector represents a strategic move towards fostering future global leaders and innovators.
